Cheer Finishes Eighth at NAIA East Qualifier

The Culver-Stockton College Cheerleading team finished eighth out of nine team at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Cheer and Dance East Qualifier Saturday afternoon in Adrian, Mich.

The Wildcats scored 79.85 points to finish ahead of Aquinas College (Mich.), which scored 79.62 points. Concordia (Mich.) won the event with an average total score of 92.62 points. While Saint Francis (Ind.) finished second with an average score of 92.50 points.

C-SC scored a total of 243.30 points from the three judges and had an average of 81.10 before deductions were figured in. The Wildcats had 1.25 points deducted and finished with an average total score of 79.85.
