Gensler Named to Heart Esports Rocket League Second Team
Culver-Stockton College senior Marty (Awoken) Gensler was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference Esports Rocket League All-Conference Team for his performance during the Rocket League schedule.
Gensler was named to the second team after totaling 44 goals and 13 assists in eight series during the season. His average score per game was 50.1, he put 107 shots on net made 48 saves and had a 41.12 shooting percentage.
Gensler's best series came in the Wildcats' 3-0 series win over Clarke (Iowa). Gensler registered 14 goals, added an assist and made four saves. He scored seven goals and two assists while making 12 saves in a 3-2 victory over Graceland.
The Wildcats finished 3-5 during the season.
