Ethan Boulanger Named the Big Game Special Teams Player of the Week
Culver-Stockton College kicker Ethan Boulanger has been named the Big Game / Heart of America Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Wildcats' 33-30 overtime victory over Missouri Baptist University Saturday night.
Boulanger, a 5-foot-10, 165-pound junior from Coconut Creek, Fla. (Monarch HS), booted a 25-yard field goal in the extra period to give the Wildcats their first victory of the season. In addition, Boulanger added a 33-yard field goal and three extra points in the game for nine total points.
For the season, Boulanger is tied for the team lead with 18 points. He is 4-for-5 on his field goal attempts with a long of 39 yards coming at Mount Marty (S.D.) in the season opener Aug. 26. Boulanger has made six of his eight extra point attempts.
The Wildcats (1-3) are scheduled to play at 20th-ranked Benedictine College this Saturday, Sept. 23, in Atchison, Kan. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Larry Wilcox Stadium.
