Men's Bowling Competes at 56th Annual Hoosier Classic

The Culver-Stockton men's bowling team competed at the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic Saturday and Sunday in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Wildcats finished 66th among the 78 teams competing in the men's division. The Wildcats recorded 7,125 pins over five games and 15 baker games. The Wildcats totaled 4,492 pins in five team games Saturday and 2,633 pins in 15 baker games Sunday.

Individually, Gavin Moeller was the top finisher for the Wildcats, placing 154th overall with 958 total pins, an average of 191.6 pins per game. Mason Will and Jake Evitts finished 183rd and 189th overall with scores of 918 and 913, respectively. Will averaged 183.6 pinsfall per game while Evitts had 182.6 pins per game. Levi Staley placed 198th overall with 893 total pins. Kody Birmes and Ashton Weilandich also competed for the Wildcats during the weekend.

The Wildcats are slated to compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships next weekend in Columbia, Mo. The tournament is being held at AMF Town and Country Lanes.
