Men's Bowling Places Eighth at Cedar Valley
The Culver-Stockton men's bowling team participated in the Cedar Valley Invitational in Waterloo, Iowa, Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats registered 5,339 total pins over three team games and 12 baker games to place eighth among the 20 teams competing at the varsity level. C-SC totaled 2,368 pins in 12 baker games, an average of 197.3 pins per game. In three team games, the Wildcats scored 2,971 total pins, an average of 990 per game.
Individually, the Wildcats were led Kody Birmes who rolled games of 188, 220 and 266 for a grand total of 684. Jake Evitts also rolled a 600 series with games of196, 187 and 234 for 617, while Levi Staley had a 606 series with games of 209, 181 and 216.
The Wildcats are scheduled to compete in the NAIA West Open next Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 7-8, in Lawrence, Kan.
