The Culver-Stockton men's golf team competed in the Clarke Spring Invitational in a warmup to the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships in three weeks.

Playing at Eagle Ridge Golf Resort in Galena, Ill., the Wildcats carded a 36-hole score of 111-over par to finish in fifth place in the five team field. C-SC shot a 57-over 345 on Monday before following up with a 54 over 342 Tuesday. The University of Dubuque won the team title with a 69-over two-day score.

Individually, Rioth Wort finished 15^th overall with a score of 21-over 165, carding scores of 82 and 83, respectively. Kenny Tucker finished 17^th overall and Brady Walker placed 18^th overall. Tucker shot 84 the first day and 83 the Tuesday to finish at 23-over 167. Walker shot 85 Monday and 83 Tuesday to end at 24-over 168.

Austin Strubbe and Alten Lowman also competed for the Wildcats. Strubbe finished 26^th overall with a 36-hole total of 43-over 187. He recorded rounds of 94 and 93, while Lowman ended up in 27^th place with a 36-hole score of 51-over 195, carding scores of 99 and 96.

C-SC is scheduled to compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships April 27-28 at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Mo. The Wildcats will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
