The Culver-Stockton men's soccer team outshot Park University 9-7 but it was the Pirates that came away with a 1-0 Heart of America Athletic Conference victory Wednesday night at Ellison Poulton Stadium.
The Wildcats held a 9-7 edge in overall shots but could only put two of those shots on frame. The Pirates got a unfortunate turnover in the 15th minute and Julian Campos made the Wildcats pay with the only goal of the game.
Nils Reifenberger accounted for four of the nine shots by the Wildcats, including both shots on goal. Jakson Baber garnered two shot overall.
The Wildcats (1-2-3 overall, 0-1-1 in the Heart) is slated to play at Missouri Baptist University this Saturday, Sept. 10 in St. Louis, Mo. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
