Men's Soccer Suffers Another Road Loss at Baker
The Culver-Stockton men's soccer team remains winless in seven games on the road after a 2-0 setback at Baker University Saturday night in Baldwin City, Kan.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 2-7-4 overall and 1-5-2 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. C-SC is 0-5-2 away from Ellison Poulton Stadium this season.
Against Baker, the Wildcats allowed one goal in each half and was outshot 16-2 overall, including 9-0 in the first half. Three different players recorded a shot for the Wildcats with Federico Rodella registering the only shot on goal.
C-SC goalkeeper Ricardo Fischbach faced six shots on goal, making four saves in the match.
The Wildcats are off until next Saturday, Oct. 11, when they travel to Olathe, Kan., to battle second-ranked MidAmerica Nazarene University. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
