Men's Track Sets Nine Personal Highs at Grinnell
The Culver-Stockton men's track and field team set nine personal highs during the running of the Grinnell Invitational Saturday afternoon in Grinnell, Iowa.
The Wildcats, who registered three points to place 13th overall in the team competition, got a sixth place finish from Shivneel Dutt in the 3000-meter run with a personal best time of 10:25.47. The other top eight finish for C-SC came by way of Judah Rivers in the 200-meter dash when he clocked a time of 23.19 to place eighth overall.
In addition to Dutt's personal mark, the Wildcats had two members set personal highs in the 60-meter dash. Lucas Swetich completed the distance in 7.36 seconds, while Austin Snoderly timed out in 7.48 seconds.
Snoderly was one of three runners to earn their best times in the 200-meter dash. Snoderly recorded a time of 23.25, DiAngelo D'Zangue garnered a time of 24.26 seconds, and Treyvon Louis had a time of 24.59.
Louis and Eli Kiser set personal best times in the 60-meter hurdles with Louis registering a time of 9.40 seconds while Kiser had a time of 9.58 seconds.
The final personal high mark of the day came from D'zangue who recorded a time of 56.93 seconds in the 400-meter dash.
The Wildcats are scheduled to compete next Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Luther Invitational in Decorah, Iowa. The first events are slated to begin at 11 a.m.
