Culver-Stockton College senior Logan Lucas has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for his performance at the Luther All-American Invitational Saturday in Decorah, Iowa.

Lucas, a senior from Monroe City, Mo. (Monroe City HS / Iowa Wesleyan University), broke his own individual school record while helping the team also set a school record at the 4-mile distance. Lucas finished 14^th overall in a field of 125 competitors at Luther. He ran a time of 21:30, bettering his old mark by seven seconds. In addition, Lucas helped his team post an overall time of 2:00:35, beating the previous mark set last season of 2:03:03. It was Lucas' second career Heart honor.

After running three straight weekends, the Wildcats will take a couple of weeks off before participating in the Seminole Valley Stampede at Munt Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Oct. 5.
