The Culver-Stockton softball team was swept in a doubleheader by Concordia University (Neb.) Sunday afternoon at the America State Bank Sports Complex in Sioux Center, Iowa.

The Wildcats gave up seven runs over the final two innings to lose 7-6 in the opening game. In the nightcap, Concordia plated eight runs in the second inning en route to a 13-2 victory in five innings.

In the opener, Lacey Stamper collected three hits and two runs batted in to lead the Wildcat nine-hit  attack. Kataleena Hunt added a two-run homer while Lauren Waller registered a two-run single.

In the circle, Penny Ruiz pitch five strong innings allowing two runs on eight hits in receiving a no decision. Ruiz struck out five and walked one.

In the second game, C-SC garnered seven hits in the game with Payton Todd recording two hits and both RBI's. 

The Wildcats (0-6) is off until Saturday, Feb. 22, when the they travel to Davenport, Iowa, to participate in the Saint Ambrose Dome Tournament. C-SC is slated to play Saint Ambrose at 8:30 a.m. and Saint Xavier (Ill.) at 10:45 a.m.
