The Culver-Stockton women's basketball team recorded a season-high 22 turnovers in dropping its second straight game on the roadSaturday afternoon to Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Vikings took advantage of the Wildcat sloppiness by scoring 24 points off those 22 miscues. C-SC forced 16 Grand View turnovers but was only able to net five points off those mistakes.

On a positive note, C-SC connected on a season-high 11 three-pointers in the game with Misora Nambara and Avery Oetting draining three treys each. The Wildcats outscored the Vikings 33-24 from the 3-point stripe; hover, Grand View made up that deficit by outscoring the visitors 15-6 at the free throw line.

Nambara led three Wildcat players in double figures with 15 points. Oetting added 13 markers while Katie Webb chipped in with 11 points. Elly Bentley just missed double digits, finishing with nine points.

Webb led C-SC with seven rebounds with outing grabbing six caroms and adding five steals in the game. Nambara collected five rebounds and a team-high five assists.

The Wildcats, now 6-4 overall and 3-3 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, returns home this Wednesday, Dec. 11, to face Mount Mercy University at Charles Field House. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
