Women's Bowling Finishes Third at Cedar Valley Invitational
The Culver-Stockton College women's bowling team placed third in the Cedar Valley Invitational in Waterloo, Iowa, Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats totaled 2,870 total pins in three team games, an average of 956 per game. The Wildcats had a high game of 1040, and then rolled games of 962 and 858. The baker games followed and the Wildcats totaled 2,318 pins, averaging 193 pins per game, to finish with 5,188 total pins. Mount Mercy won the event with 5,646 pins
Jersey Lessenger earned all-tournament team honors with fifth place finish, registering 625 pins in three games, an average of 208 per game. Lessenger rolled games of 212, 224, and 189. Rachel Moore totaled 615 pins in three games, rolling games of 258, 206 and 151.
The Wildcats are slated to compete in the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic next Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16, at the Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind.
