Moore Earns Another All-Tournament Nod at Hoosier Classic
Led by another all-tournament performance from sophomore Rachel Moore, the Culver-Stockton women's bowling team finished 32nd in the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind., Saturday and Sunday.
Moore garnered 1,136 total pins in five team games Saturday, an average of 227.2 pins per game, to place third overall in a large regular-season ending field. Moore rolled four games of 200 or more, including games of 259, 243, 223 and 221.
The Wildcats totaled 7,257 pins over the five team games Saturday and the 15 baker games Sunday. C-SC had 4,402 pins after the five team games before finishing Sunday with 2,855 pins in the 15 baker games.
Senior Jasmine Saunders placed 142nd overall individually, totaling 879 pins overall, an average of 175.8 pins per game, while Andi Woods garnered 822 pinfalls in five game, an averge of 164.6 pins per game. Jersey Lessenger placed 209th overall in the 409 player field with 802 total pins in five games. Katelin Valentine and Rilee Allen also bowled during the weekend but di not bowl in all five games.
The Wildcats are scheduled to compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships this Saturday and Sunday in Columbia, Mo. The tournament will be held at AMF Town and Country Lanes.
