Women's Bowling Finishes 12th at Mid-States Collegate Championships
The Culver-Stockton women's bowling team competed in its first Tier I tournament of the season Saturday and Sunday in Wichita, Kan.
The Wildcats competed in the Mid-States Collegiate Championships and ended the weekend in the middle of the pack, placing 12th overall among the 24 teams competing at the varsity division.
C-SC totaled 7,591 total pins for the tournament, accumulating 4,942 pins in six games Saturday, and 2,649 pins in 16 baker games Sunday. The Wildcats averaged 823 pins in the six team games and 165.6 pins in 16 baker games.
Rachel Moore was the top individual finisher for the Wildcats with a total of 1,144 pins in six games, an average of 190.7 pins per game. Moore finished 21st overall.
The Wildcats are scheduled to return to compete next weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 25-26, at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge. The women will compete at Royal Crest Lanes in Lawrence, Kan.
