Women's Bowling Complete Regular Season at Hoosier Classic
The Culver-Stockton women's bowling team completed the regular season with a 47th place finish at the season-ending Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl over the weekend in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Wildcats registered a total of 6,575 pins for the weekend, recording 4,286 pins in five team games, and 2289 pins in 15 baker games. Pikeville (Ky,) was the top team in the event with 7,994 total pins. C-SC rolled a high game of 908 in the team games, and a game of 180 in the baker games.
Individually, Rachel Moore was the top finisher for the Wildcats with a score of 987, or an average of 197.4, good for 55th place. Moore had three games over 200, rolling games of 228, 211 and 203.
Andi Woods rolled five games for the Wildcats and placed 149th overall in the tournament. Woods garnered 860 pins over the five games, an average of 172.0. Jersey Lessenger and Natalee Alberts also bowled in all five games with Lessenger playing 155th overall with a 847 series, and Alberts finishing 159th overall with 839 total pins.
C-SC is scheduled to defend its Heart of America Athletic Conference title next weekend, Feb. 21-22, at AMF Town and Country Lanes in Columbia, Mo.
