Women's Lacrosse Players Earn Postseason Honors
The Culver-Stockton College women's lacrosse team had six players honored by the Heart of America Athletic Conference for their play during the 2026 season.
Freshman Jacee Grinsteinner was named the league's freshman of the year while sophomore Addison Holm and senior Katie De Craene were named to the all-conference first team. Sophomores Tennesyn Rohman and Brettine Thompson, along with freshman Brookelyn Lindberg were named to the second team.
Grinsteinner, a midfielder from Skiatook, Okla. (Owasso HS), turned in an impressive freshman campaign, recording 30 points with 25 goals and five assists. She generated consistent offensive opportunities with 63 shots and 47 shots on goal.
Holm, an attacker from Lake St. Louis, Mo. (Timberland HS), was named to the first team for the second consecutive season. Holm led the Wildcats in goals (44), assists (31) and points (75). She also registered team-highs with 92 draw controls and 36 groundballs. Holm had a shooting percentage of 64 percent, scoring on 44 of her 69 shots on goal.
De Craene, a defender from Clarksville, Tenn. (St. Francis HS), was named to the all-conference team for the third time and first team for the second time. De Craene garnered a team-best 19 caused turnovers during the year. She also totaled 34 groundballs and had four draw controls.
Rohman, a defender from Bailey, Colo. (Platte Canyon HS), was named to her first all-conference team after scoring four goals and adding an assist for five points. She also tabulated 35 groundballs, two draw controls and nine caused turnovers.
Thompson, a defender from University Place, Wash. (Curtis HS), was also named for the first time after recording 12 caused turnovers and scooping up nine groundballs in nine games this season.
Lindberg, a midfielder from Clearwater, Minn. (Monticello HS), earned all-league honors in her first season after scoring 17 goals and assisting on six others for 23 points, which was the third-highest on the team. Linberg started all 16 games as a freshman, garnering 21 groundballs and 21 draw controls.
The Wildcats completed the 2026 season with a 6-10 overall record and a 3-3 mark in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. C-SC defeated Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) 11-8 for its first postseason victory in school history before falling to top-ranked and defending national champion Benedictine College in the Heart semifinals.
