Women's Track ties for Seventh at Grinnell Invitational

The Culver-Stockton women's track and field team recorded 28 points to finish tied for seventh in the Grinnell Invitational at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Grinnell garnered 172 points to win the event.

The highest finish was by Delaney Straus who placed second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.92 seconds. 

Faith Younce and Emma Berry placed fifth and seventh in the 3,000-meter run. Younce finished the circuit in 12:07.13 while Berry set a personal best with a time of 12:25.58.

In the field events, Kinlie Judd placed fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 8 feet, 10 1/4 inches. Donyall Sharp finished seventh in the weight throw with a toss of 46 feet, 2 3/4 inches.

The Wildcats will compete in the Luther Invitational next Saturday, Feb. 8, in Decorah, Iowa. The first events are set to begin at 11:30 a.m.
