Women's Track and Field Competes at Vikings Classic
A limited number of athletes from the Culver-Stockton women's track and field team competed at the Grand View Vikings Classic Friday afternoon in Des Moines, Iowa.
Emma Berry competed in the 5000-meter run and placed fourth overall with a time of 21:28.27.
In the field events, Mya Buehrle competed in both the Discus and the hammer throw. In the discus, Buehrle placed 21st overall with a throw of 95 feet, 9 inches. In the hammer throw, Buehrle finished 26th with a toss of 108 feet, 3 inches.
The Wildcats are scheduled to compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships next Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
