Clarke University outscored the Culver-Stockton men's basketball team 13-8 over the final three minutes of the game to post 76-71 victory over the Wildcats on Senior Day at Charles Field House in Canton.
The Wildcats' Damont Hanton scored on a driving layup with 3:02 to play to tie the game at 63. C-SC wouldn't score again until Kamren Wires drove the lane and laid in a basket with 38 seconds left.
The Pride outscored the Wildcats 7-0 over that span and then went 6-for-6 from the foul line over the final 33 seconds to seal the victory.
The Wildcats placed three players in double figures with Damar Jenkins, Hanton and Harrison Lewis totaling 12 points each. Greg Hopkins, playing in his final game for the Wildcats, netted a career-high nine points.
C-SC concludes the season with a 5-23 overall record and finishes 2-18 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Clarke also finished with a 5-23 record and 2-18 in the Heart.
